Max Sheffield has been a freelance writer and marketer since 2018 after 5 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the pediatrics, OBGYN, health informatics, and community health specialties creating educational materials for patients, physicians, nurses, and therapists. Max graduated with their Bachelor's in Marketing from Colorado State University in 2021. In both sides of their career journey, their passion for empathetic storytelling shines through. As a nurse and as a marketer, they’ve had to tailor their communications to diverse audiences and make them accessible, engaging, and actionable. Max has worked with several healthcare and nonprofit organizations such as Better Together KC, Newhouse KC, Healing Towards Wellness, and Johnson County Community College.
